The Daughters Are Gathering Ministries

The "Daughters Are Gathering" Ministries began with a vision given by God to Cherrise Phipps in 2008 to promote unity and fellowship among Christian women. Cherrise is humbled by God's mandate and clarion call to "Gather His Daughters" and to break down the walls of partition that has kept women separated in the Body of Christ. Her heart's desire is the prophetic fulfillment of the Lord's priestly prayer in John 17:22, "that they may be one, even as we are one". It is from this posture she blows the shofar and proclaim on the earth: "The Daughters Are Gathering!" Cherrise has brought hundreds of women together from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, churches, and ministries through the "Daughters Are Gathering" Women's Conference and special events. Her passion is to see God's "daughters" - women, young adults, and teens - stop working against each other and develop Christ-honoring relationships built upon a covenant of Christian love.

Cherrise Phipps is an ordained minister and is called upon to preach and teach at churches and ministry events throughout Greater Rochester Metropolitan area and surrounding states. She also co-labors in the service of the Lord with her husband, Bishop Gerald D. Phipps of the New Destiny Baptist Church, Rochester, New York and serves as a Board Member and Staff Professor for the Rochester Center of Theological and Biblical Studies. Cherrise is the mother of two children, Michelle and Tyler, and grandmother to Daydrea Amara.
